Should the school provide remedial classes before prospects take any t

I work for a bilingual school and we have an English and Spanish assessment for admission that’s why I want to know more about it.

Keisha ,

Very good point! We should not eliminate the opportunity just because we may think they don't need it.

I think remedial classes are a wonderful option for students that have a need for them. Some students are more advanced than others. For those students, remedial classes should be optional and for those who need them, it should be mandatory. With an assessment we can determine which students would benefit more from the remedial classes.

Michel,
Remedial classes can assist students in preparation for their studies. They do not earn credit toward graduation but help to prepare them for a better student experience. If your school does offer remedial classes, they must be notated as such in the catalog.

Exactly, so we should provide the remedial classes or not?

Michel,
Remedial classes provide students a refresher on material that they need to be successful.
