Training Up

It is important to train executives and support staff to understand the implications of the regulations so that they are on board at all times.

This should be included in compliance training modules as well.

Stephanie,
This is another example of why everyone at the school needs to know the regulations. We all have contact with the public. Providing true and honest information is requireedd by law.

At our school, there are so many different people who talk with each of our students, such as front desk, financial aid, the registrar, and the admissions representatives. The student may think of a random question at any time, and may end up asking a person who might not be current on the information.
I personally am never afraid to ask my boss. It is better to take the time to get the right answer than to just guess and hope you are right.

Mike,
Short, quick meetings can be very advantageous. Key information is shared and teams are built.

Patty Aronoff

We have daily meetings that are short and to the point to help us stay on top of anything new.

Maxine,

Everyone is governed by the same rules no matter which department they work. I agree everyone should be trained in the rules of governance.

christopher,
Customer service is the umber one focus. If we do not have students, we do not have a school. The power of personal recommendation is great.

Patty Aronoff

traing should be ongoing and is very important to serving the student

Maxie I agree with you such training should be provided to new executives and staff as well as yearly reviews to make sure the regulations are still current since there could be updates and changes, it also keeps everyone in the organization up to date.
