Rules and Regulations
As it happens in other cases it is our responsibility to be on top of any changes or updates. I believe we have to check every month for updates. This is something we need to carefully review for the purpose of informing coworkers and students as well as avoiding violations. This really concerns me and it will be a topic of discussion in our monthly meeting until we understand the IMPORTANCE of complying with the rules and regulations
Hiram,
Rules for Commission for Independent Education can be updated at any time during the year. Check the website for any rule making in progress.

Diana,
Having the rules and regulations and being well-informed can provide you the background and the security in providing the right information.

Ananias,
The laws are there to protect everyone. Having laws make sure that everyone is treated equally and fairly in the fair consumer practices.

Rules are updated all the time so you must always be upto date.
MY background is nursing, so I am very used to protocols, rules and regulations. Know where to go to find all the education rules and regulations has been of concern to me.
I want to make sure every word that comes out of my mouth to my prospective students is accurate and truthful.
This site is a Godsend for accurate information. Thank you!
If you have ten thousand regulations you destroy all respect for the law.
Rachel,
We must be current with the regulations. Otherwise, we could inadvertently be not following the law.
Patty Aronoff
It is important to review the rules , regulations and any updates on a monthly basis to keep the information updated.
Evelin,
We have an obligation to know. There is no excuse for not knowing.
Patty Aronoff
It is good to know. That is why I was saying we need to be on top of this in order to avoid violations that could lead in suspension of license etc just for not knowing.
Evelin,
Rules can be changed anytime during the year. Statutes can only be modified through the spring legislative session each year and must pass both the house and the senate for governor approval.
