Does an admission rep have to be responsible for the students to know about assistance that is available in the state of Florida concerning tuition assistance?

Most schools have Financial Aid departments where staff assist students with financing options. They are the subject matter experts!

At my organization the admissions representatives provides little to no information regarding financing. We are title IV funded and therefore only discuss payment options for cash paying students. Although it is not "required" for us to know about financing options it does help to know about available scholarships or organizations that can provide tuition assistance such as Vocational Rehabilitation. We connect with the prospective student through the interview process so it is easier to pinpoint what information may pertain to each particular prospect.
