Agreed! Product knowledge is an important part of discussing the program for your students. They rely on accurate and current information about the program in order to make a value decision.

The better you know your product, the better you can sell it. You'll be able to absorb any tough question when you really know your product.
I agree with Patty and Edward. Product Knowledge is crucial to being successful as an Admission Rep. I also feel like confidence plays a huge roll. Being able to be confident with each student as you deliver the information makes the student feel like they are making the right decision based off of what they are being told.
I agree with Patty. You MUST know your product. Each prospective student has different concerns. You must be able to address these concerns clearly and correctly. That can only be done when you KNOW what your school offers.
