Titles areeverything in a name you as an Admissions Associate you should be knowledgable about the school and what it offers. We should make the student feel as comfortable as possible and exhaust any means to make sure they are headed in the right direction.
At most schools there are specific guidelines to follow when enrolling a student, creating a new student folder, and knowing what to do with the folder when you have completed your part is very important.
It is very important that admission representative knowledgeable about all regulations, during this process the parents or future students have many questions and is very healthy to respond to all your questions

Title are everything in a name. Counselor denotes that further education has been achieved in order to use the title. Not so in Admissions!

An admissions employee can only work for a licensed institution and must complete approved training provided by the institution. There are certain titles that an admissions employee can not use such as Counselor, Advisor,or any similar term. An admissions employee cannot induce an applicant to enrollby offering bonuses, discounts.
