enrollment agreement

I think it is better to have the person do the enrollment agreement within 24 hrs of doing the interview. Theinformation is fresh in their heads and the more time that passes the more of a chance they will change their minds.

Asmir,
It really is so much information to absorb. Having another conversation to reinforce key points is very important to ensure full understanding.

Patty Aronoff

You are right about that. I have encountered students come back to do the agreement after a few weeks and they forgot half of what we went over. Therefore I need to go over everything again.

Karla,
The Commission must approve all enrollment agreements before their use. It is part of the renewal of licensure process. If the enrollment agreement is changed mid year, then the EA is sent to the Commission for review.

institutions are allowed to vary copy depending on programs offered, but must demonstrate that the Commission requirements are met.

Stephan,
Many people would agree with your thoughts. When they have time to think, they have more assurity on what they have signed.

Patty Aronoff

I think applicant should be given the time before signing. This also avoids questioning afterwards and student is more confident about his decision.

carrie,
In order to sign, the student should feel comfortable and understand what they are signing.

Patty Aronoff

We usually have our sign right away if they are wanting to apply, so that everything is fresh in their mind and they get a copy of it to take with them in case any questions come up.

Mauricio ,
Some people want to sign right away and others want to think about what they are signing. It really depends upon the individual.
