admissions process
Almost every part of the admissions process requires that forms be completed and signed properly. We have already discussed many of them and suggested that you practice completing these forms. This is all very serious as the enrollment agreement and admission process is regulated by the Florida Commission for Independent Education and your accrediting body, as well as Title IV if you are accredited and Title IV approved
lasharn,
The rules and regulations are the protections that the state of Florida has put in place to protect the students.

The admission process is very important and we must stay in compliance with rules and regulations. I think by keeping all forms in oder is a great process by making sure that all documents are completed and sign.
Robert,
Excellent advice! As we are the purveyor of information to prospective students, we need to understand the forms and all of the elements of completion.

As an administrator who works with admission forms and the enrollment process on a daily basis, I find it essential to fully understand what is on those forms. Not only to have a clear understanding of what is there in case a question is asked, but also as a way to mitigate any potential problems that may arise.
As an administrator, I talk to potential students from various background and economic statuses. A large portion of our student population is prior military, and often the question is asked about military benefits and the GI Bill. I am also asked about student loans and Pell Grants on a regular basis, as well as your average everyday questions. Completing the forms properly is indeed the 1st step to success.
Rachel,
We should be following the news! Our sector is very dynamic and changes are always in the mix.

Allison,
Laws are there to protect those it governs. A better way of conducting business.
Patty Aronoff
Staying abreast of the latest news always help as well because laws do sometimes change.
As a spouse of an attorney I realize the essential nature of the law. It is a must that as a University we follow laws explicitly.
Lisandra,
Admissions is working on contractual, business documents which must be completed fully and legally.
