Admission Requirements and Enrollment

When a student enrolls at an institution, he or she starts an exciting new part of their life. As Admissions Representative we take them by the hand and facilitate this process for them. Explaing all the admission requirements and enrollment procedures is just one of the many aspects that we should master.

I agree with you Juan. Omitting something or just not explaining something to a student can effect their experience and their complete outlook on the school as a whole. If you do something wrong or misleading the student could decide not to complete their enrollment or stop attending if they already started classes. Not to mention the negative word-of-mouth advertising they will give - free of charge!

Hector,
We should consider that every student is dependent upon us for all the information they need to make their decision about school.

Patty Aronoff

The role of admissions officers at the time of the prospectus that decision is very important so you should offer all the necessary information to achieve their goals.

Melissa,

They count on us to provide them accurate and thorough information. Honesty and integrity are the basic tenets of our roles.

Patty Aronoff

The enrollment process is very important. As an admissions representative we are the first person they see and are getting information from. The information we give needs to be honest and accurate

alexandra,
It is student centered focus that makes the most successful schools. Most of the students in our schools need that extra hand.

Patty Aronoff

alexandra,

We have a personal investment in their admissions as well. We are there guiding force in the first approach to a changed life.

I really enjoy taking these new students by the hand and standing there next to them while they make a clear life-changing decision in life, its encouraging, and it only drives me to want to do it better, and more personal to guide each individual that signs with the academy.

this is very true, i was left "behind" a lot in school, and i always remembered those teachers who took the extra minute or so, to make sure i really understood what i could expect, and making me full aware of the process of knowledge of which i was learning.

Anthony,

If you do not, then you are breaking the law. The state of Florida is a consumer protection state.

Patty Aronoff

Anthony,

We must understand every single step of the process in admissions. Our prospective students expect us to provide them full information as this is a contract between the student and the school.

Patty Aronoff

Elizabeth,
Product knowledge is at the heart of admissions. Our perspective students come to us and expect full information regarding the educational program under their consideration.

Patty Aronoff

Juan,
You are so right! The wrong word or the omission of one word can change the entire meaning of the sentence. We must be very careful in all communications.

Patty Aronoff

Ann-Kathrin,
It is an exciting time of their life. They are starting on the development of their personal self that will bring in value throughout the rest of their life.

Patty Aronoff

Yeah its definitely important to make sure you abide by admissions requirements

I believe having a strong understanding of the enrollment process is important for all of us. From recruitment to financial aid to registration to retention and graduation, we all have a responsibility to deliver the best possible experience at each of these stages.

I believe it is important to make this process as seamless as possible. Our product knowledge should be A+, to ensure we are guiding them into their program and are coherent to what to expect. I also believe preparing them for class and what to expect is key. Orientation is excellent, however preparing them to be students and change there lifestyle takes training. Giving them helpful hints on what can help them be a sucessful student helps them get adjusted to the change and also familarize them with the first day, the first week the first month etc...give themselves rewards for completing milestones and following some simple guidelines like setting the time aside that is necessary to break things up so your not overwhelmed......there are so many things we need to help with making students sucessful goint through their new journey. We are the trained professionals and should help with what we know and what helps students be sucessful.

This is very important, because leaving something out or not clealy explaining info could effect the way the student views you as a Representative of the school. By being thorough in explaining and going through the process, you assure the student you are a professional and have their best interest at heart.
