Keeping Track
It is a good idea to keep track of your leads in a different ways. One could be on a computer and on a second notebook for redundancy.
Eric,
You do need to know your business! Knowing who you are, what you're doing, where you are going, and how you were going to get there is your plan.

Hello Patty,
As an admissions representative, keeping track of one's leads is very important for the overall success of one's career. What I mean is that, in admissions, you have to know your business! This starts with tracking leads. Daily and weekly, you have to be aware of how many leads you got from your school, what percentage of that you scheduled for an interview for, what percentage of that showed for the scheduled interview, and what percentage of that enrolled in school. In addition, you'll also track what percentage of the leads you received actually started school. To conclude, you have to have a plan and work your plan. If you don't plan for success, then you're planning to fail.
Fernando,
There are many ways to track leads. Some of the computer programs such as CampusVue, track them for you. Then there is the tried and true way by paper.
