How soon is too soon?

How soon should it be in determining whether a prospective student would get through the admissions process? e.g. The first initial call or when meeting face-to-face.

Judimith,
There are two key components to admissions. One they must mean all the admissions requirements. The second is the most strongest persistence factor and that is their personal motivation to see it through to the end.

Actually as soon you see if the student has all the requirements needed and it depends too in how clear the prospective students are about his/her goal.

Scott,

I have found that if you follow a three point procedure, that you will know during an initial conversation if a prosepctive student is ready to begin the admissions process:

*are they admissable (age, diploma/GED, etc)
*are they able to fund their education
*do they have the proper tools (computer, internet, etc)

Scott,
It's really dependent upon your admissions process. As you go through the various steps students need to meet admissions requirements to the letter. In the admissions interview it's more subjective in determining whether or not your school is the right fit for them.
