Nathan,
Good communications are essential to maintaining an admissions process that is effective. Great job.
I would consider myself a Subject Matter Expert. Being employed at my wonderful institution for over 6 years and a graduate of the MBA program in addition to a graduate marketing certificate whickh I earned online., I have experienced the University of multiple levels. As an employee, student and alumni. In addition to being a recruiter in the past and managing recuuiters as well as managers. I believe I am submerged in our University.
I believe I am fairly knowledgeable about my institution. I make every effort to keep abreast of any changes.
Although I have only been on board with my current employer for just over a year, I would rate my overall knowledge of the institution as at least a 10 out of 12.
I believe the majority of this can be attributed to the relatively small size of the institution (20 or so staff members), as well as the extensive staff orientation process for new staff members.
Carla,
Your confidence will carry over to your clients. This is a very important decision for them and your knowledge will help them as they weight the possibilities.
I feel really good about my knowledge about our school and my background knowledge in what we teach. I am soon to be married to someone who does the job (and for the last 15 years also) that I help to promote through the training at our school. I feel even more qualified because I am someone who lives the life and can provide real ups and downs perspectives to my students. They love the fact that I can really relate.
Lynn,
You are a step ahead. Having knowledge beyond the recruitment area gives you the ability to fully discuss your institution.
I rate my knowledge of my institution as high as I have worked in a few different positions and spend time talking with people in various different job duties
Greg,
Education is a dynamic environment and there is always something to learn.
Primarily due to being a graduate from the institution I am employed. I feel comfortable discussing my institution, but at the same time I have realized that there is still much to learn.
Amos,
Excellent, keep up the good work. This confidence level will certainly carry over to your prospective students.
Benjamin,
You are right! Keep up the great work!
Allison,
Welcome back! You'll see much has changed in four years.
Donna,
You are on the right path. Changes are always in the making and it takes effort to keep up.
Luisking,
Teaching others is a great way to test your own knowledge. Questions of others keeps us sharp!
Jennifer,
Keep up the good work. Remember there is always something to learn and you have the tools to keep you on top of your game!
Kathy,
Keep up the good work. Regular meetings and communications with the office keeps you in touch with home base.
I rate myself at 95%. I do feel very good about my knowledge of the University.
Four years in, one year spent as the state trainer, I believe I am very knowledgable regarding my institution. Staying knowledgable however is a constant process.
I have rejoined the organization as of January after being away four years at another institutions I am still learning!
