Org Chart

What do some of your organizational charts look like? Are all schools broken into departments based on the services they provide to students? Does anyone have a specific Marketing or Human Resource department?

Totally Agree! Understanding the org chart is a great way to get any questions you may have of your institution answered as well as knowing were to redirect the student if ever needed.

Catalina,
Even though there are different departments specializing on the student experience, they all must work together to make it successful.

Our institution is divided into departments and specialize on a specific aspect of the student's enrollment process or education. All the marketing and HR department is all centralized in corporate with facilitators at the campus level. This helps the focus be on the student and getting involved in the community to enroll those perspective student's in programs where see fit.

Maria,
Organizational charts are a road map to your school. Great tool!

Dale,
Oranizational charts bring a visual perspective to operations.

yes great to have a organization chart

It is a great tool when you want to know who is who within the school and their roles. I remember getting an org chart when I joint ITT and it helped me a lot.

It is great having an organizational chart to refer to. Although people work in different departments and are in different positions it gives employees a great understanding and perspective when communicating.

At my university, we are all given an organizational chart. It has changed throughout my time here however, I have stayed with the same supervisor.
