All employees should be exposed to each Department during the initial training process to gather Information about the Organization structure of each program and an Diagram should be created for each department and kept in a Binder and undated monthly.
Shanley,
Everyone has something to contribute. Tap into this valuable resource.
Patty Aronoff
The best marketing to increase awareness about the institution is to have everyone organized and know their facts. Cross-department training should be held every couple months so everyone is on board and knows what the other departments are working on. The best ideas could come from other people to help contribute to success!!
I agree. every employee should know about every department to have knowledge about all facilities and structure so we can all be more organized.
Natacha,
Staying organized is key for compliance.
Organization structure is an important part of the admissions representative job. It is a vital role to find the resouces we need in order to do a better job not only inside the school with our co-workers, but with our students. Giving the students the right information and steps towards their process is one of our goals and without the materials how is it possible to do it.
Zulema,
The organizational chart then becomes alive with people and processes within the organization.
Pamela,
You have brought good ideas on creating the notebook. Thank you for your post.
I believe this resource notebook should be kept with all yous school information, your notes from meetings, your visits with the different departments and all your training material. You need a big binder, with sleeves and tab dividers to keep it all organized. This resouce can be updated as you progress through the school/recruting season. All the information will be at your finger tips and spending the initial time to set it up correctly will certainly pay off in the long run.
