Financial Aid is your Friend
Of course it is very important to know and get along well with all of your co workers, however Financial Aid is your friend at least where we are at. She works with us hand and hand to asist the students in discovering what they qualify for and encourages them to better their future, she is very through and knows how to comfort them if they are nervous or having any doubts.

Students can quickly see when departments don't work together. We should always be on the same page with the student focus first.

This is so true i have experienced it before in past institutions. However, the success of FA is together with the Success of Admissions. So the best thing to do is be friends.

I agree. I have been in the business for over 20 years. There always seems to be a little tension between the departments, but when you get right down to it, we need each other to be successful and reach our goals.

We work together as an Enrollment Team and also work on our smooth transition from the tour to financial planning by informing financial aid more about the prospects hobbies, interests in order for them to have same connection.
