Marketing

Although there are many different media outlets, working within your budget and maximizing the number of potential students you can reach is important. The larger the budget, obviously the more you can do. Utilizing free resources, such as email blasts can help make your efforts stretch further.

Sherry,
More and more schools are turning to Facebook. Promote it at your schools, provide beneficial posts and monitor for success.

We just recently in the last few months created a Facebook for our school. We do go in on occaion and make updated remarks, but not a lot of response. What do the other schools do to create more traffic on their facebook?

I agree, Kelley. Using the internet as a source of marketing can be the greatest tool you use to do your daily tasks. Not only is it free but it is the quickest way to communicate, it can be seen on Twitter and FaceBook by so many people at one time, easily forwarded in e-mails and if worded correctly can be a great referral tool.

Kelley,
Emails are a great tool and are free! Also many are using Facebook and Twitter as additional resources.
