Where Did all the Financial Aid Go for trade schools?
Can someone please tell me why a person outside the age of 18-to-23 and 1/2 can not have the same opertunity to get enough financial assistance to go to a trade school which is acredited and title IV. The above age bracket only gets it threw parent plus loan???
patricia ,
Finding funding is difficult but continue to have your school explore local resources.

I am wondering the same thing. We have a Certified Nursing Assistant course and a Home Health Aide course. There is currently NO financial aid assistance from Workforce one or other resources. We are working with our students to take the course and allow them to make payment arrangements. Our classes are affordable, but for working single moms and others it's a stretch for them to work, and pay for school. I realize the economy is in turmoil, but it would be nice for help to be available for affordable, programs. Seems some high priced programs that actually do not offer a license get funding. I see students who are 5 to 8 thousand dollars in debt for a Medical assistant or patient care tech "certificate" not able to find worK!
patrick,
I am not knowledgeable in the interworkings of financial aid and leave those remarks to the experts.
