Graduation
Graduations are important but it was interesting to find out that they are not required
Immaculee,
Graduation is a choice of the school. Having graduation is a great celebration for students and is enjoyed by all involved.
Patty Aronoff
That is quite interesting that graduations are not required. We do provide the students with a big graduation for all the classes that is finished. It is a great celebration.
Shane,
Yes, it is optional. But for me, I love graduation and experiencing the grand event reminds us why we are the business we are in.

I too was supprised to learn that the graduation ceremony was not a required event. Like most of you, I also think that the students should be given a celebratory event for their hard work and accomplishments!
Elvis ,
Absolutely! Even though graduation ceremonies are not required, they are the culmination of hard work and success. We should all celebrate.
Patty Aronoff
maria,
We all love to celebrate, especially with those we have a connection with. Students really enjoy this celebration of their succes.

IN regards to graduation I believe it is a moral thing to do for the student. It is a big deal for many of theses students in regards to all the sacrifices they went through in order to accomodate and comply with all requirements for finally graduating. They deserve to have a memorable moment.
I feel the graduation ceremony is such a nice thing to have for the students, as well for their friends and family. Family members enjoy coming and seeing celebration with their love ones such their son, daugther, sibbling, father, mother, spouse or....to celebrate success with everyone the care for.
Brenda,
They are mine as well. It is so rewarding to see the students grow and achieve success.

My two favorite events are ORIENTATION where students from all over the country come together with others who share their passion, and GRADUATION. I have been a 99% of my student graduations!! Most of my students do attend graduation but I have had a few who didn't. In those cases, they were on their way to a post-grad job.
John,
The ceremony is just a great time! We celebrate their success even though they have already "graduated" on paper.
Patty Aronoff
I believe a graduation ceremony denotes a sense of accomplishment while promoting confidence in one's one ability. I know that when I graduated from college, the ceremony was an important step in recognizing that I, the student, achieved a goal that takes four years and a ton of hard work to accomplish. The celebration following the ceremony included friends and family and truly was a memorable day in my life.
Shauntay,
They have worked hard to achieve their graduation in their rogram. Ceremonies are times of celebration with friends, family and school staff.
Patty Aronoff
I believe the ceremony does help with the transition process with the students and I also believe it gives them that extra boost of confidence they need to continue on there journey.
Denise,
It is a time of transition and change. They are excited to see their faculty join in on the celebration.
Patty Aronoff
Carrie,
It is an exciting time of their lives to be shared with friends and family.
Patty Aronoff
Amanda,
Absolutely! Recognition for success is needed. We all need to celebrate.

Although I don't think institutions should be required to have a graduation, our academy offers a 19-month diploma program and at the end of our academic year the staff and students look forward to a formal celebration in honor of the students achievements. We believe the ceremony helps them to make the transition from student to professional.
I am surprised this is not requirement. While we do not do graduations each term, we do have a quarterly ceremony. The students see it as sort of the final rite of passage.
