Graduation

I realize that graduation isn't required, but it's still great for the students. I wonder if there's something online universities could do to celebrate a student's academic achievement? Has anyone heard of anything like that?

John,
I so agree! There is so much love and support out in the audience. A celebration not to be missed.

I too feel strongly about Graduation!

I think it's a valuable time for the family to recognize what that loved one has had to overcome to make that happen, such as care for the kids, clean, cook, go to work, study etc. There are a lot of single parents too that do not have extra support, so they should celebrate the hard work and dedication that student put forth to be able to graduate.

It is a very special, proud milestone, that should be shared and celebrated with friends and family!

So come on up in front of your peers, friends and family wearing with pride your Cap & Gown, you have earned it... Cheers!

I agree, everyone should get that cap and gown feeling.

Ronald,
I know that some online universities still conduct graduation ceremonies at different physical locations.
