Programs Offered

It is important to know the programs offered so that you can explain to the student properly and capture their interest

JOEY,
Agreed! You need to be knowledgeable in all areas but your advice on learning about institutions is great advice. Students are comparing other schools so take the time to learn what sets your school apart.

Patty Aronoff

yes, it is very important to be knowlegeable about all programs offered so you can be more effective and helpful. best way to learn about those programs is by talking and learn from the instructors, school student's and faculty catalogs, ask the program director and school director to explain to you about the programs.

for example in our school we provide ongoing training to our staff.

we believe that the more you know the better it is for both the student and the school.

not only you need to be knowledgeable about your school's programs and also about commission and all other institutions that are licensed and approved your school. for exmple in our school

douglas,
I am glad you have chosen to do so. You won't be disappointed.

ARMANDO,
It's fun and exciting to sit in class. You come away with so much more. You can relate better to your prospective student by sharing your own experience.

Patty Aronoff

I'll definately be sitting in some classes this week :)

I have sat in every program our school offers. That has given me the knowledge to answer correctly to every question about a program....

Jonathan,
Try meeting with faculty and education staff to obtain a more indepth look into your programs. You will catch their excitement!

Patty Aronoff

If there is a feature and benefit you do not know i would advise you to sit with your Admissions Director to go over this or to seek help from the program chair and or academic dean.

heather,
It is about truth and providing guidance for a life changing event in their life. We need to always take it very seriously.

Product knowledge is a no brainer! If you do not know the features and benefits of a course how can you present it to the potential student? On top of that, Students want to know about the programs they are looking to get and education for and they want to speak with a knowledgable professional who is confindent as well and can really help not just sell.

Marlene,

Product knowledge is a requirement of admissions representatives. You need to actively know a program in order to sell it.
