I agree some lead generating companies recycle leads.
What i have noticed in past institutions that i have worked with in the past is that some of the lead generation companies give out bad leads. or really old leads.

Internet Advertising is a big part of our lead generation options. There are companies who provide qualified leads to us. We also use Google adwords. Would Google be listed under lead generating companies? That is not their primary role, but a service they offer to help better define your website.

Lead generation companies can always be a great way of increases lead flow, however as a new school it is just as important to hit the pavement and sources leads through good old fashion face to face interactions throughout the community.

Lead generation companies are great to get your staff working on prospective student contacts. Just be aware that all companies are not made equal (as you probably already know). You'll get what you pay for with the leads.
