Alternate financiing

We are not an accredited school, and have been approached by a company that offers alternative financing consulting. They arrange for us to get in contact with financing entities. Is this something anyone is familiar with?

The last resort is private loans before cash. Check out lending institutions in your area for options for your school.

Thats one thing i wish we were in line with. Our institution is acredited, but when students come in that qualify for no pell or they have very little money left, i wish there was a way to guide in that direction and not just have to tell them sorry, you have to pay out of pocket

Students are not always prepared to pay cash for their education. Banks, credit unions, finance companies have student loan programs available.

I would like to know what it means when you say that if the school is not accredited one must seek alternative financing for their students. What would that be consist of?

Federal financial is just one way to finance education. Every school should strive to develop alternative financing to assist students who do not qualify.

There are many companies offering alt financing and should be more now with changes in the industry going forward.
