Advertising and Marketing

A correct advertising is fundamental in the process of recruiting prospective students. Marketing is also important and at the same time very stressful. There are so many people interested but at the same time with lack of knowledge about what they really want. A good marketing requires strategies on how to properly approach different nationalities with different cultures and points of view.

Advertising is the best way to bring students in, but we like to schedule an appointment for them when they call instead of giving them a lot of information over the phone precisely because some people are interested, but at the same time we need to know if our school offer the right opportunities for them. We like to find out their goals, and where they would like to be in the near future. A career planning interview is the best way to help make a change to a new career and better future.

I personally believe that great marketing strategies come from being an great listener. hearing what the people want , what they need, and what they are looking to do. How it would benefit them. Marketing relys on understanding how people think and understanding fluctuations in the world and industry as a whole. Different culture and nationalities require different spproaches and i believe teaming up with indiviuals with similar backgrounds to those we are attempting to market to would provide greater rewards.

I agree that it is extremely important to market the school according to what can be offered to the student and not exagerate any information. I also think that it is extremely important to know who you are marketing to and your target audience, all staying within the realms of the universities missions and vission.

It is very important not to sale unattainable dreams and hopes. The consumer deserves to know the truth about what he/she is investing money in.A program that acts unethically in advertising will act unethically in operation.

Creative without strategy is called 'art.' Creative with strategy is called 'advertising.'

I agree it is very important to have good advertising. Due to our school being new and small some of these advertising plans have to come from myself. So I can see to get more knowledge in it and to obey the rules is a must.

All marketing literature should be approved by the fair consumer practices. in addition, all marketing material should be approved by your internal school compliance department before publication.
