Advertising and Marketing.

It is very important for an Admission representative to be aware of the marketing and advertising of an institution in order to be aware of what is available when speaking to prospective students.If not aware of the marketing plan, ask for the samples af the marketing effort so that prospective students will be well informed about various promotions offered by the institutions. There are various marketting strategies: Print Ads, Radio, TV, Dorect mails or Emails. Regardless of what strategies used, the information will be beneficial to prospective students.

There are many ways to reach students. The main thing is to make sure the right msg reaches the right people. Not everyone is looking for school, so the challenge comes when we have to get through 99 no's for that 1 yes.

I feel Marketing and Advertising is a large part of promoting your Institution as well as word of mouth. There are many ways to market your establishment and not spend exuberant amount of monies. I feel radio is a great marketing and advertising tool especially geared to the location or area of where your school is located. Another great tool of Advertising is menus at restaurants, you put your business on the paper placemat which has several businesses on it. Great way to get exposure.
