Career services is a wonderful department to have in any institution! I am curious to know the process in which career services personel goes out to reach and establish business relations with potential employers for graduates. How do they provide assistance for seeking careers without guaranteeing anything?

I'm a believer in admissions partnering with career services from the very beginning. Our ultimate goal is for students to graduate and get a job in their desired career field. By working with career services once the student enrolls, we provide a better opportunity to meet that goal.

Our Career Services not only educates the students about the opportunities that exist and what it takes to obtain employment and remain employed, but we also bring in prospective employers and educate them about the benefits of partnership. I have found that maintaining an aspect of mutual education, the doors for opportunity open far wider than without it.

Career services is a great resource and their efforts benefit both the student and the school. They go out into the community and seek employer support for the program. This bridges employers and the school for potential hiring of graduates. There are no guarantees.
