The marketing department is one of the very important tools any educations institutions should have. They are the one of the reason most student comes thru the doors of our university. They always tell us that their heard about us thru the radio or TV.

This is one area where many schools do not have the resources to keep the website up todate all the time. Interestingly enough we catch those errors as a viewer very quickly.

Typically, you can look on the institution's website for information on marketing. In some case it may not be the most up to date information. I believe the best way to stay up to date is to speak with the marketing director of the instutiton. They will be able to provide more information on the inistution's marketing plan.

When a prospective student contacts me, I ask them how they heard about our school. The information helps shape future advertisements.
I believe keeping up with your marketing should be done on a day to day basis. For example if you decide to market on social media make sure you are posting new classes or information about your programs on a daily basis. Adding images about your program is another great way to catch peoples attentions because everyone loves visuals.
