Knowing who's who
Its very important for the admissions representative to know how each department is there to help and support their students. Knowing what each department does will allow you to know where you can go to for certain questions.

It's equally as important to know your students. At our school - if a staff member doesn't know the name of a student they're not able to continue with their questions (etc) until they learn the name of the student. We value our students and recognize that without them, we wouldn't have jobs.
