By making sure that we continually adhere to a standard of excellence and clarity when it comes to delivering information and not to be misleading in any way.
Ethics honesty and integrity, should be the foundation of our institutions of higher education.
The Commission serves as a guide in providing insight in what can and can not be done by providing regulatory requirements.
I believe that ethics in the workplace is the most important thing. We always have to do right by students who are depending on us to help them achieve their goals.
I have learned through this course that it is important to give accurate and thorough information to the students, as well as know all the rules and regulations. It is only then that we can perform our jobs thoroughly, and help to create a great and positive experience for our students.
The CIE allows me to follow their guidelines, in addition to our own internal processes. These guidelines are all transparent and easy to understand allowing me to better deliver the information and inquiries from existing and prospective students

I think there is so much more to learn then I first thought. I am very excited about my new job....I love learning new things. This course has been huge help.
I agree, but I believe the student has to take responsibility for their actions as well.
These requirements are the guidelines to follow to better serve the students in a fair practical manner, while ensuring credibility of the institution. As an admissions representative or agent,I must be compliant to convey the institutional probity, an important aspect in the student success.
Elizabeth,
I am sure the commission would love to hear that. Obtaining licensure is required by law but it is truly a testament to your school going through the process.

Being licensed by the CIE is an honor, it gives me confidence when talking with prospective students to let them know that we are held to a higher standard and strive to provide the best possible education experience in our field.
Neil,
It is a huge responsibility. If we place ourselves in their position, we would expect the same from others.
Patty Aronoff
