Lorrine,
Also regardless of which institution they attend. All schools in Florida must follow the same rules.

The CIE help to ensure that we are in compliance as it relates to functions of our school. I love the support they provide.
Given the FCIE governs and controls the licensure of our institution, knowing the rules and regulations is the only way to ensure we are operating within the guidelines. It is critical to learn the requirements and routinely monitor the website for updates. We are responsible for incorporating any changes in the requirements into our policies and procedures.
This is an governing body that makes being a admission representative much easier. It sets the guidelines and resources to enable my job success. I appreciate this help me in my job performance
The Commission for Independent Education requirements affects the way I perform my job as an admissions representative or agent because I am know more aware of the rules and regulations I must follow in order to remain in compliance with CIE. It has also helped me provide accurate information to out applicants.
These requirements are the primary directives for institutions under the cognizance of the commission. They should be referred to at every opportunity to ensure our institution is compliant with all of the listed requirements.
Familiarity with these requirements will help ensure that we all perform the requirements of our jobs in the admissions arena legally and ethically.
The CIE's requirements give me confidence that I am providing a valuable service to our students and that I am also taking care of my school and its leadership. The rules are there for a reason. Without them, unscrupulous organizations or individuals would be able to take advantage of men and women who are just looking to enhance their education...people who are placing their trust in the school to which they apply. My job is to provide outstanding customer service as an admissions representative to prospective students. I must have integrity and follow the CIE requirements in order to do that. My job also entails representing my school and taking care of my boss. If I do the right thing all the time and provide that outstanding service, my school and my boss look good. Everybody wins.
The CIE's requirements helps to ensure that our prospective students are all being provided with the same information regardless of the person they speak with on the admissions team.
I am still in training and have previous admissions experience in florida but I will tell you it makes me that much more diligent with the entire process. I am here for the student and I support my instution like a family so CIE keeps me grounded to ensure I am doing the very best for everyone.
It allows me to ensure that i give the proper information to perspective students. It keeps us honest
CIE requirements affect how we perform our jobs by making sure that we have the most up to date information and that we are providing the right information to our potential students.
The CIE is definetly a guiding light. By following it and keeping tabs on the actualizations I know that I will be able to stay off the gray zone, and keep everything in the clear.
Tim,
The regulations are there to protect the consumer. In turn, the regs protect you and the school.

The Commission for Independent Education (CIE) requirements force me to remain fully aware of the higher education environment (and associated legislation and trends) as an admissions representative.
Ronald,
Ethics, honesty, integrity are all elements of great performance and compliance.
Patty Aronoff
Susan,
It is there to protect the students and the school. Misleading information is against the law.
