Website
I think it is important to keep your website up-to-date and provide information on the website. It doesn't sit well with some people if they can't find information they want/need. In this age of technology, a lot of our leads are internet based. Internet leads typically want information NOW... and providing this on the website will quench their thirst.
Howard,
It is important to have a website today but it does need to capture your audience and have ease of mobility.
Not only does a current website help your prospective students, but it will also help your SEO score since one of Google's requirements is that of "freshness". A fresh, current website will rank higher than one which is stale and neglected.
We must remember, websites are just tools. The tool is there, in most cases to help establish contact with a live person. Information accuracy is paramount, but it will not replace the face to face contact most of us make every day.
Dale,
We rely on the internet many times as the first point of reference. Keeping our websites up-to-date is critical.
yes it is very importation that the internet is up to date everyday
This is true. In those instances, the student/parent would need to sign the paper application by coming into the school or via mail.
Sharon,
Authenticity of signature is required for compliance.
We recently started a brand new website that is extremly user friendly and looks great compared to the old one. Im hoping that soon we will be able to allow students to complete enrollment packages online. I had the use of this at my previous employment, the only down fall was the authenticty of the signature for those under 18 yrs of age or those who did not have a credit history as this was how they authorized the signature.
Michelle,
The internet is really part of our everyday lives. We only have a few seconds to capture your marketing audience through an online ad. The real test is a website that is easy to manuever and informative.
Today, your programs website is typically the first thing a potential student will see. It needs to be current, informative, engaging and hopefully generate a conversation with an admissions representative. This is the first impression someone will have generally and it needs to create excitement over the possibilities and opportunities that your courses will provide.
David,
Websites are often our first point of contact today in this technology oriented world. Having a website that is not only informative but easy to navigate is important.
in order to insure information is accurate and up to date. We require the admissions staff visit our web site weekly. We also have dept. that monitor our site weekly.
Michelle,
Websites are often the first point of contact for prospectiv students. Easy to navigate sites are very important.
I feel a website plays a very important part in suppling addidtional School information to prospective students. For example: If a prospective student is in a bit of a rush and wouls like information on the programs we can have then visit our website and write down all questions they may have.
Timothy,
We are becoming a culture of internet junkies. It is often the first place of information seeking. Having a top notch website with current information is very important in today's marketing.
Our school's website is in constant flux as it is the porthole for all to see. It is very time consuming but worth it as it saves us time in the long run. The questions we get by telephone are clear and concise.
Quintana,
The website is often your first point of contact. It is important to put our best face forward.
Cynthia,
I believe most people are the same way. It doesn't take much to get frustrated and move on.
