I have learned a lot from this training. At our school, we used to offer training at least 2 X a month, but as the staff has grown, we have had to implement more training sessions, offering each training twice to insure all staff members have the opportunity to participate. Offering 2 different times for each training has increased participation with a larger admissions staff.
It is important to continually update ourselves in order to provide the prospective student with the most information and possibilities that we can.
Being relatively new to the Admission Rep / school profession, I appreciate the opportunity to participate in more trainings.
Honestly, I found this course very important information that had been overlooked, so I see the need to continue training in search not only for personal or professional goals but also for the Institution and most importantly for the students.
I would like to be informed of new training in this area.
Michelle,
I like the topic focus. Many meetings are group meetings of ideas.
Carmen,
Competition is good for business. You will need the information to compare your school to the others.
Another great training tool is to research your competition. You can compile a book with written info. from other schools. We can learn from what other schools are doing correctly and incorrectly!!!
Our institution offers training approximately every 2 weeks. The topic is generally any area in which the Admissions Department may be struggling, i.e. garnering the committment, cancellation of enrollments, etc. It is an AWESOME way to brainstorm as a team to overcome any obstacles in assisting the prospect through the enrollment process.
Its excellent to always to be sharpening the our blade. We live in such a new information society with rapid changes so its excellent to keep up with continual education and training that will make more knowledgeable Representatives and work with better informed consumers.
Sandra,
There are so many good reasons to continually educate ourselves. Consumers are very savvy today and we need to be experts.
Fasil,
There are no guarantees and the student is making a choice of change in their life. For many, the decisions are overwhelming.
Sandra,
New experiences and questions arise everyday. We need to continually learn in order to be the best we can be.
Continous education and training for Admissions if the key to success.
It is absolutely important for Admissions Representatives to keep up with constant training, specialy now a days in our industry.
The need of admissions training in todays times is essential and this program taught that's it better to be up front w/ students than to take a chance w/ a guarantee.
I truly am a firm believer that constant training in Admissions is very essential. This was very informative.
Jay,
The trainingg is to further your education on the requirements of the state of Florida in order to remain compliant.
I am very content with the training I have received.
Tracy,
We are in a very dynamic sector in education and continual education is key.
