Compliance is necessary to remain licensed and operate within the regs.
yes you are correct we have to have the compliance in place for the company to be very successful
Errol,
You have said it well! Words we need to live by.
That is the basis of our school.
Integrity and Ethics not only keeps us on the right path but it gives our students and the employers who hire our students a level of confidence that the institution is trustworthy. It also assist the institution to maintain their Accreditation which is critical for the survival of the School.
D.,
It is also about "doing the right thing."
Errol,
Integrity and ethics keep us on the right path.
Especially at this time when the focus of all the regulatory bodies are focussing on Career schools it is imperative that as institutions we adhere to our own policies and protect the students and ourselves.

I agree. Some schools "trick" the student's into coming in and wont even talk to them on the phone. Sad! I think everyone should be honest and ethical and answer what they can. Let's face it.....The price of gas is bad enough, so we should help students get the basics before trying to lure them down.
Richard,
Agreed. Unfortunately they are also the ones who make front page news.
the best thing is to have the students' best interest in mind as you discuss your school, your programs, because your goal should always be to see it from the students perspective anyway.
Compliance should be the golden rule - as it applies to what is best for our future graduates.
Compliance make it easy for all of us. There is no guess work, you learn the rules and follow them.
When you are dishonest about your school and your services for the purpose of getting your numbers you are doing a dis-service to those who work hard to do the right thing.
Gustavo,
Fair consumer practices is the most reviewed part of the school's operations. CIE reviews the school through licensure, onsite visits and reporting.
Sekou,
The student should be first and foremost even though admission numbers are the lifeblood of the school.
Compliance is definitely an important subject.
Which compliance areas have you found to be more critical?
Complying with rules and regulations insures that admissions rep have the students best interest in mind and shows that you are not just enrolling students to meet numeric goals
