I am often surprised at how many of our inquiries have not yet seen our website. It does provide a wealth of information. However, it seems as though there are still many people who would rather obtain information from a person instead of from a computer.
Edward,
It should mirror the information provided at the school.
Shaun,
The internet is usually the first point of inquiry today. Schools should use this to their advantage.
Daylyn,
I wonder how effective it is to require lead information in order for the student to get the information they want.
I think the website is a good reference for the student, but they may have questions that can only be answered by a representative.
I agree with you Daylyn,
It is a great place to start, the next challenge is encouraging the students to take full advantage of the resources available to them. Many times after "several" people have directed a student to the official website during their enrollment, I find that the students will come and ask me a question that could have been answered had they used the website.
Carlos,
The website can provide so much information. However, the key is that the website is current.
i strongly agree that institution website should be the best resource for an agent to obtain most of relevant information needed
Institution Websites should strive to have all the information pertaiing to that particular institution.
The school's official website can be the best place to find information however not all schools have an informative site. Some institutions don't give the information unless they put a request for information thus creating a lead. Our institution's website is super informative and the prospect can find everything from the catalog, handbook and curriculum for each program of study and download and save it on their computers for future reference.
