Staying Current
This is something that I am very good about. I never want to be caught in a situation where I know something has changed and I don't have the information handy to give to the propsective student.
It is hard not being the person who gets new information first. I find it difficult sometimes to rely on someone else to pass new processes down to me. It has happened on more than one occassion that I was not given important information in a timely manner and I am the one who looks a fool when I can't properly answer a question. It is frustrating, but I know it sometimes can't be helped.

I'm employed at a small institution and although it is hard to miss any new information, it still happens due to the fact that the Director may assume you heard from someone else. Now, I always prioritize asking for any new information and staying on top of it.

Yes, I am very strict in this area as well. I really would hate not to have the information or have information that is out dated, in which case sometimes the student is the one that is updating you---WHILE IN CLASS!! Not good:(
