Misleading information could hurt the institution reputation. A few months ago I saw a newspaper ad for an institution indicating that you could receive a free tablet pc if you were admitted to the institution, the catch was the course textbooks where preloaded on the tablet pc. This for me represents a double edge sword. The student will get the textbooks but also will get the tablet pc, in the tablet pc additional things can be done in addition to reading the pre loaded textbooks. Is this a fair practice? Is the instituion being compliant?
