Keeping Current on Licensing Laws in Mutiple Locations
In the school where I work, we have a national and perhaps international focus - we prepare our graduates to work throughout the US and Canada. It is impossible to keep current on licencing requirements in so many different places. Is it reasonable to tell the applicant that they will need to check with the local licensing bodies on spoecific requirements, while telling them the generic requirements?
Justin,
They are still considered students under the protective umbrella of Florida law. Good advice!

We also have a smaller focus on international students and are currently applying for our M-1 through SEVIS. This will allow us to accept foreign students. We remind our admissions staff they need to still fulfill our obligations with the CIE when dealing with students who are out of country. It can get confusing at times but we have a very good check and balance system in place along with reaching out to our program coordinator if we are presented with a question that we can not find the answer.

Alan,
Actually, it should be stated in the catalog that it is the student's responsibility to determine what licensure or certifications are required.
