You really need to read the regulations regarding Pell disbursement. I know many students that were overpaid with Pell money and had to pay it back.

What is the correct verbiage/response when speaking to a student regarding Pell Grant? I have heard it's FREE money the government gives and you do not need to repay it. This is just for my knowledge

What I think is great is how the admission rep really take the time to explain all the options. I know when I applied for college, I thought grant was the only thing you could recieve, I did not know that the loans were also combined under the FASA application.

Financial aid is complex and has many variables. It is not all free money.

Most students think that FAFSA/Financial Aid is Pell Grants only, it's more than just Pell Grants, it consist of Loans and Grants if they qualify is usually my verbage that I use.

You must be accredited by an accrediting agency approved by the USDOE and submit application for Title IV loans.
