The importance of the resource notebook extends throughout ones full term in an admissions position. Resources are all around and waiting to be utilized for up to date information that will help admissions directors be as informational as possible to current and potential students.
Having a clear and informational response ready at any moment for a current or potential student will not only develop a trusting relationship but give the director confidence that they are successful at their job.

I agree. Having knowledge of your institution, its programs, and services; and communicating this information confidently is important in successful marketing. A school whose representative appears to be unsure or ill-informed can be a customer service nightmare.
