Job Placement for Self Employment
As part of the trade we teach students at our institution, expected graduates have the opportunity to start their own business cresting and selling their work. Is it okay to discuss self employment with prospective students?

The institution where I work also educates students who will primarily work for themselves or on a freelance basis. It is mandated at our institution that this is discussed in the admissions process so there are no unrealistic expectations upon completion of the program.

I would think so. Many people go back to school for the sole purpose of no longer having to work for someone else. I would feel it would be our obligation to discuss self employment.
