Institutional Marketing
I would say that as far as institutional marketing, my university is working pretty hard to improve in this area. We are a small private university, so the funds aren't always there for expensive marketing tools. We recently started airing commercials on television, which has been a big help in getting our name out to the public. We are updating and modernizing all of our brochures and publications to be more relevant to today's generation. We go to every fair and event that we can to get our university attention. I am excited to see how these new marketing strategies will help our university in the long run.

Change is the only constant and so true in the marketing world. I am amazed on how social media networks are driving promo, recruiting, and enrollment activities. This is more so when marketing online programs at a global level.

You are correct! The entire focus of marketing is to take your product and connected to the person you want to come to your school. Making sure that we have truth in advertising is important.

Institutional marketing should be part of the marketing plan to achieve the established goals. We as marketers must be aware and ready to customize the product based on the target market.
