If a school is still using counselor than what can be done, ,and what are the repercussions?

The commission protects the students against misleading information. The term counselor is strictly prohibited by the commission for its use.

I agree, the term counselor could be a misleading word when used for admissions reps. Counselor and Reps are very different titles. We do our best to help our students but counselor would not be the correct word.

It is very important that the school is always in compliance and knows that there is no admissions representative that is a counselor.

Change the title immediately. If your school wishes to be in compliance it must change. Otherwise the Commission may impose sanctions to your school.
