Training and Maintaining Current Information
Our team is responsible for knowing a wealth of information on a variety of different programs. We hold training sessions to cover program and compliance information to insure everyone is current on these topics.
For resource binders, do you recommend a regular "audit" to confirm that everyone is referencing the same accurate and current information?
Nicolette,
I believe that's an excellent idea challenging the information base and questioning whether not the information is correct.

Judy,
Agreed! We do not know everything. The industry is changing rapidly as well as the world we have to continually educate ourselves in order to remain competitive.

Nick,
Every time we train someone else we learn ourselves. It's a great opportunity to continue the growth of our institution by sharing knowledge.

Yes, the process of training is necessary for the growth of any campus. Some new hires may believe they know everything about admissions. However, that is inaccurate. One should not assume anything. If in doubt one needs to ask questions. We all need to be on the same page with accurate and current information.
We have weekly meetings on our Admissions process and procedures. We also provide training to staff to keep them up to date new educational programs. Specifically how much the programs cost, educational courses needed by the student and what is the placement rate of the program.
