Section 1007.24(7) Authority for Acceptance of equivalent courses

Any student who transfers among postsecondary institutions that are fully accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and that participate in the statewide course numbering system shall be awarded credit by the receiving institution for courses satisfactorily completed by the student at the previous institutions.

Can you please explain this article deeper?

I understand each Education Institute is free of accepting credits from another institution. Thanks.

Sergio,
The state of Florida has a statewide course numbering system. If your institution chooses to participate in that state directed numbering system then that will apply for transfer of credits. For example you happen English course ENC 1101 that is approved by this State Board of Education, Then that courses recognized by other institutions as a transferable credits.
