I was expecting a few suprises but there weren't any. Our organizational chart is relatively the same as the proposed one you offer in the training.
Vincent,
We always need to remind ourselves of what we are doing and why we are doing it. We are changing people's lives through education, but we are also a business.
Patty Aronoff
Vicky,
There should never be surprises. Good communication and information will provide clear understanding.

I have been in the education field for 16 years. Working at for-profit universities, the structure is laid out clearly. There is an business side and an academic side. Both have strict regulations they must stick to and are held accountable for. This university has put a structure in place that allows regular internal audits to ensure the procedures are consistant and compliant with all regulations. They are quick to respond and make corrections if anything seem to be lacking. The structure limits any surprises or errors.
There we not surprises. We have a clear and well defined organizational structure and leadership always make sure we understand how it works.
Junior,
It depends on your institution. For larger schools, the Admissions Manager reports to the Admissions Director and handles the day-to-day management of the department.
Patty Aronoff
What is the difference between an Admissions Manager and Admissions Director? It appears that most of these titles at smaller schools do not typically match functional duties and responsibilities.
Natalia,
It is truly a win-win. Having the same goal means we are all working together. It takes a village!
Patty Aronoff
Our team supports each other trying to get the project. In addition, our goal is that our students are satisfied with the preparation they are receiving, which is a quality education and commitment, that is our goal.
Guy,
We never want surprises in admissions. We work very hard to overcome such events.
Patty Aronoff
There were no suprise! I only expect that each unit will work as a team, with the mission, to help the students fulfill their dream.
Guy J. Solon
Israel,
Interesting... Finding who to refer to for questions and further knowledge should be a top priority in any organization.
Patty Aronoff
I am involved with a new program that ia only state licensed at this point
There isnt a real structure in terms of an organizational one because we are working as a team with each player acting to the beat of their job description
Thomas,
Excellent! Knowing the structure of your organization gives you the roadmap of where to go for assistance.
Patty Aronoff
After reviewing the organizational stucture there are very few surprises as I am very familiar.
Jamie,
Excellent! All organizations should strive for a team effort. After all, the students are why we are here.
Patty Aronoff
Becky,
It does take an all departmental effort to transform the enrollment to a graduate.
Patty Aronoff
Becky,
It does take everyone, all efforts to graduate a student.
Patty Aronoff
Our organizational structure works very well. We are all here to help improve our students' experiences and we all work together to achieve that common goal.
No surprises. I love our organizational chart! The top of it is our students and we all support them underneath. We all work together and we all affect each others relationship with the student. Everyone plays a vital role in the Admissions process and it really does "take a village".
