Prospective Students.

What are the most imporant pieces of information to give a prospective student at the time of the interview?

Kimberly,

Yes, full transparency should be expressed. There should never be surprises from the student perspective.

Everything about the school should be explained like the licensed and accreditation, cost of program,Program length, attendance, and much more.

Lisa,
This is where the interview process is active communication, delving into that particular student, their desires, their challenges.

jackie,
Every bit of information should be shared and the student have an understanding.

The discover phase of an interview will lead the admissions rep to the most important areas of the programs discussed. Even tho all areas are crucial, we do not want to spend much time on areas not directly impacted by the learner. For example, if the school offers child care, tutoring, or disability services may be important to some perspective learners, not to all. Do not weigh students down with facts that have no relevance. Yet, just touch upon them to assure all information has been provided.

I think any information shared with the student would be considered important. The information that an admissions rep convey will help the student with making an informed decision on if this the right school, the right program, and the right training that they potentially want to pursue a career in.

Alexander ,

Every aspect should be explained. Active listening and good questions will complete the task.
