Prospective Students
e want all prospective students to feel comfortable in our institution as quickly as possible. The expectation is that no prospective student is greeted more than 5 minutes after arriving in the lobby.
Olga,
It really is. They can be the source of PDL's or personally developed leads for admissions. They can also give you feedback after they have started school.

Patrick,
Everyone wants to feel part of the community at the college. Making it seem as they're just a number puts them on the outside. Focusing on the student first is the direction many schools should take as they are our greatest asset.

following up with our students after classes start it is really good for both school and students
Our admissions team is very active with not only our perspective students but with our existing ones as well. We want all of our students to feel that they are a part of our family.
I could not agree more! The students trust you and acknowledge you as part of their journey to a new career. It is always nice for an admissions representative to keep in touch and make themselves available throughout the students academic career.
I agree, I take pride in seeing the students I have enrolled and seeing how they progress and enjoy the program they are currently enrolled in.
Gina,
You are continuing the relationship that began in admissions. This is important to the student as they never wish to be treated as a number.

Jessica,
As students start attending class, they become part of the culture. It become more familiar and they become more comfortable.

Rita,
They do! We always want to make good impressions but the first one is always the one that sticks!

MARILYN,
It is a proven business technique to make it personal. One way is to know your student and provide personalized service.

I agree, I see and speak to students I have enrolled on a daily basis , whether in the halls or in my office. I am also there when they graduate and take pride in knowing I have been a part of their educational journey.
Prospective students feel very comfortable once they enter the school. They are greeted by the receptionist, and by our wonderful student in passing. Once I’ve met them, then they are taken around and introduce to staff and faculty making them the prospective feel very welcomed.
First impressions could set the tone for what you and the institution that you are in is all about. Make a good one.
Students greeted by name throughout the building gives them a sense of belonging and they are valued, in turn they value their time here.
Correct, at various times we walk around campus when our students are on breaks and make sure that everything is going smoothly.
That's a very good ideal, they will than feel that there decision to enroll in the school was the right one.
Nicholas,
Students also want to be acknowledged long after the enrollment process. It is important that admissions representatives check in on the students they enrolled later in their program.
