Admissions Requirements Vs. Externship requirements

If your school has a required externship program, what is the best verbiage for the Admissions representative to use when going over these requirments with the students?

Shannon,
It is a great opportunity for hire and schools love that opportunity. It is a win for all parties.

Externships if required are great as it not only gives the students hands on training in the actual work environment, but also gets the student out there in front of possible employers to be seen, evaluated and possibly hired.

Patti ,
More and more programs are requiring an externship or internship as part of their studies. It is an opportunity to test out your skills before the real deal.

An externship is a great way to gain hands on experience while you are still in school. It also is a great way to network with people from the industry that you are trying to break into.

Tiffany,

Externship is part of the program curriculum and should be addressed s such. It is also an opportunity to be hired after graduation.
