verify documents
Verify this documents is one of the first steps to do before accepting a prospective student
Megan,
Great post! You should never be shy about checking more than once.
Patty Aronoff
Check once, twice, three times. It is ok to make errors as long as we catch them before any one- potential student and or facility receive the incorrect information. Also admitting there was a error and fixing the problem as well as putting in check points with other employers is also important and respected rather then turning a blind eye to the problem or pointing the finer at a co-worker!
Mirian,
Documents have to be verified in order to ensure that we are meeting the requirements for admission

Katherine,
You're always should be many sets of eyes as we go over complicated paperwork. It is in the best interest to have someone doublecheck.

Nydia,
We must always check and recheck. The key to compliance is consistent and auditing.

During the verification process we check the accuracy of the information that the students provided. We also verify if the document is a copy or original. Also sometimes Financial Aid Department requires from the students, additional documentation in order to check the accuracy of the FAFSA information.
I agree because in check is the key documents to be sure that it meets all requirements.
