We do very little in so far as social media relating to our school. We are, however, a school that cares about all of our students. We are family run and don't have more than 150 students at a time. As financial Aid Director, I pride myself on knowing 90-95% of our students by their first name.

I love the motto. Having an institution that truly cares, not just says so, will be the best retention, the best marketing, the best recruitment tool you can have.

I think this is a good idea. It also encourages studnet pride, and motivation for the school they are attending.
It is ok to highlight the positive as long as it is benefiting the student.
