teachers having certification
I must of missed where the teachers didn't need to me approved by the state in the same way the reps are. Why is this
I also missed where teachers do not need to have a license. I don't recall reading anything about a teacher and their roles in the enrollment process. My first reaction was that it is false and then I changed my answer to true. Always go by your first instinct.
I am a program chair and also have an agent permit to obtain clinical sites for nursing. Believe me, there are several accrediting bodies and approvals that are evaluated on a regular basis.
Michael:
The state does not approve individual teachers/faculty at the post-secondary education level. However, there are specific qualifications that teachers must meet that are set forth in Ohio Administrative Code section 3332-1-16 that include specific levels or education, certification and/or experience.
Teacher credentials are typically reviewed during individual school site visits and may also be subject to random audits or inspections.
